Greetings from Wyndford...

There has been a delay in writing this letter… it’s called a ‘new’ computer – it unfortunately has the same ‘old’ user who isn’t quite on the same page!! Anyway – warm hellos from us all at Wyndford.
Sitting in the sun on a lazy afternoon, having just eaten another wonderful Wyndford meal of Creamed Cauliflower soup, Vegetable Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Roast Ribeye of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Gravy, Roasted Potatoes and Garden fresh spinach and carrots, followed by the legendary Lemon Meringue Pie and Cream, tea or coffee….. are you drooling yet?!  But wait.. at four there is tea and coffee and homemade cookies and then for dinner this evening…. Well you get the picture! All meals are included in our rates. Breakfasts, morning tea and cake  - we don’t like anyone going home hungry. Farm fare, nothing pretentious but it means you don’t have to think about buying cooking and cleaning up! A holiday indeed…
And for this weekend only there is a special of 35% discount for a minimum two night stay. Give the girls in the office a call on 058-223-0274 now so as not to miss out.
We have had our first frosts of the winter and the woodpile is ready. This week sees the kitchen making our annual supply of marmalade after George and Lindy went orange hunting.  We use a special variety called Rex Union, which are not so easy to obtain.  We nearly ended up picking them ourselves after discovering the farm but all ends well and we came home with 30 pockets! Marmalade supply secured… now for the chopping and cooking!
There are still a few rooms available for the June long weekend and a reminder of the July holiday special of a 20% discount for a four night or longer stay.
Congratulations to  Alana Fourie on being our monthly draw winner, and we look forward to welcoming you Wyndford for your two night stay for two.
Well, that’s all for now, Molly, Sprocket, Ponty, Maluti, Zazu and well we all hope to see you soon.  Stay well and warm.
